Abstract

The effect of solution temperature, cooling conditions after solutionizing; and aging conditions on static mechanical properties, dynamic toughness and dynamic strength characteristics as well as phase transformations were examined. In addition, a comparison with Ti-6Al-4V alpha rich ( alpha plus beta ) type alloy was made.
