Abstract

The effect of confinement on phase-separation processes in a polymer blend observed by laser scanning confocal microscopy was discussed. A mixture of polybutadiene (PB) and deuterated polybutadiene with relatively narrow thickness was observed in three dimensions over the entire thickness. The formation of wetting layers was clearly observed near the glass surface.
