Abstract

We propose a dynamical extension of the self-consistent field theory for inhomogeneous polymer systems by combining path integral calculation of the chain conformation and the reptation theory. Stress-strain relation of sheared two polymer brushes is studied using this technique, which shows an important effect of the non-equilibrium chain conformation under flow field.
