Abstract

"In-situ" observation of the supercooled-liquid state of a Ni15Pt60P25 amorphous alloy was performed by neutron diffraction in the isothermal state. The small-angle scattering intensity increased with isothermal time. These results imply that some kinds of long-range fluctuation occurred during the transition from the amorphous solid to the supercooled-liquid state.
