N2 - The scattering of time harmonic flexural waves by a through crack in a soft ferromagnetic thin plate under a uniform magnetic field is considered. Fourier transform is employed reducing the magneto-elastodynamic problem to the solution of a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. Numerical results are obtained for the dynamic moment intensity factor that tends to increase with increasing magnetic induction and effect becomes more and more pronounced as the frequency of the flexural waves is decreased.
