Abstract

The ductility of bulk Zr55Cu30Al10Ni5 amorphous alloy is improved by cold rolling. Bending test and Charpy test are performed to estimate the plasticity and ductility improvement. The sample is cast into a plate shape metallic mold with thickness of 3 mm, a width of 10 mm and a length of 70 mm using an arc-casting apparatus.
