Duality and multicritical point of two-dimensional spin glasses

Abstract

A conjecture on the duality and multicritical point of two-dimensional spin glasses were discussed using duality transformation. A duality argument to predict the location of the multicritical point in models of spin glasses on the square lattice was also developed. It was found that the multicritical point was located on the Nishimori line for models with gauge symmetry.
