Abstract

Nuclear emulsion was used to search for double-Λ hypernuclei for a half century. We have nine events showing sequential decay of two units of Λ hyperon in nucleus, however our knowledge of Λ-Λ interaction is still poor, so far. Based on knowhow given by the past emulsion experiments, the E07 experiment at J-PARC is expected to present the events in ~102 and ~103 with Hybridemulsion and Overall-scanning method, respectively.
