Domain spacing distribution in a lamellar-forming block copolymer

Abstract

There are few studies concerning domain spacing distribution of microphase-separated structures of block copolymers. It was commonly believed that there was no domain spacing distribution of the microphase-separated structure of the block copolymer. In this study, we observed three dimensional structures of a lamellar-forming block copolymer and found a significant distribution of the domain spacing by means of Transmission Electron Microtomography (TEMT).
