Abstract
The displacement and polarization switching properties of piezoelectric laminated actuators were investigated. Laminated beam theory solution was developed. The effects of electric fields on the displacements of actuators were analyzed. Finite element analysis was also employed. Bending tests were used to validate the numerical predictions.
