Abstract

A step for "two-in-one"!A steplike mole-cule(see picture) was synthesized as a carrier transport material for layered OLED devices. This double-pillared molecule combines the π system of aromatic hydrocarbons with the s system of silicon in a single structure and transports both holes and electrons in a device.
