N2 - Energy-dispersive X-ray diffractometry has been applied to observe directly the phase transformation process (liquid→solid phase Ia→solid phase Ib→liquid) of carbon tetrachloride and the premelting process of benzene. Dynamic changes of diffraction patterns in transformation processes have been observed.
