Abstract

A new direct-coupled Josephson exclusively OR gate, based on a noninterferometer, is proposed. A high gain and a wide operation margin with fan-out 2 feature are produced by successive switchings of junctions. The threshold characteristics and functional operation have been investigated theoretically and experimentally.
