N2 - Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) is a popular method being applied widely to the studies which deal with thermal changes of materials. Most of researchers of the iron ore sintering process must have also tried the analysis using chemical reagents and/or practical iron ores, limestone and so forth. Recently, the importance of understanding basic reaction/assimilation of iron ores with fluxing materials have been recognized. In this report, assimilation behavior of various iron ores with limestone of different particle size ranges was examined by using DTA.
