Abstract
In the present paper we will describe correlation between time change of the vascular permeability in the carrageen-air-pouch inflammation and time change of prostaglandin E level in the inflammatory exudate over the entire course throughout acute exudative and chronic proliferative stages. In addition, effect of typical non-steroid anti-inflammatory agents, indomethacin, aspirin, phenylbutazone and naproxen on acute and chronic stages of the inflammation will be described.
