Abstract

We have developed highly durable achromatic polarizer by controlling the light absorption of side chains in the chemical structure of dichromatic pigment molecules and the physical cross-linked structure of polyvinyl alcohol film, which led to the realization of low power monochrome-type reflective LCD with high reflectivity and paper white.
