N2 - In this study, we have developed amorphous bulk in the Al-Mn-Si alloy system as a precursor of thermoelectric materials consisting of nano-grains. The quenched ribbon samples at the composition of Al34.4Mn21.2Si44.4 became single amorphous phase. By applying approximately 3 GPa at room temperature, we succeeded in preparing bulk amorphous samples without possessing any other crystalline phases.
