Development of a new positron beam for coincident studies with laser excitation

Details of a new measuring system using bunched positron beam synchronized with short pulse laser, and, related design for the new beamline based on the electron linac are presented. The number of positrons and the pulse width are expected to be 2.5×104/pulse and 200 ps, respectively.
