Abstract

In this paper, we propose a network control method that considers the path switching time in OpenFlow-enabled devices. Given that the processing time for each device is different, we designed three methods to find the appropriate paths that minimize the total switching time of all paths in the network. Our methods intend to achieve continuous communication even if communication paths are frequently changed due to some network failures as in the case of disaster situations.
