The wing shape of two-stage-to-orbit (TSTO) Reusable Launch vehicle (RLV) is optimized in space transportation systems to tackle the severe flight conditions and cost reductions. The aerodynamic optimization was attained by four objective functions such as minimizing the shift of aerodynamic center between supersonic and transonic flights, minimizing pitch moment and drag under the transonic flight conditions, and maximizing lift under the subsonic flight conditions. Data mining of Self-rganized Map (SOM) was used as a visualization technique and for an intelligent compression of information. The optimization result shows that the optimum values are zero and the nondominated solutions are reached at the origin. Result also shows that the shift and transonics is optimized simultaneously and the subsonic lift is reduced slightly.
