Derivation of analytical expression for third-order dispersion elimination using time-domain optical Fourier transformation

Abstract

We show theoretically that waveform distortion caused by third-order dispersion can be completely eliminated by using time-domain optical Fourier transformation, which we have previously demonstrated experimentally. The analytical expression that describes the distortion elimination is newly derived.
