Decision feedback differential detection of 16-DAPSK signals

Abstract

An improved differential detection scheme called DF-DD, based on decision feedback, is proposed for 16-level differentially encoded amplitude/phase shift keying (16-DAPSK). Computer simulation of BER performance in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels is presented and compared with that of 16DPSK.
