Abstract
We have performed the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect study of UPt3 to gain deeper understanding of the metamagnetic transition. The field dependence of the dHvA frequencies and effective masses are measured for the ω branch observed with fields in the c-plane. The effective masses are enhanced with increasing field, corresponding to the enhancement of the electric specific heat coefficient.
