De Haas-van Alphen effect in UPt3

We have done de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) experiments in UPt3 and have observed at least three new branches. One of them is in the basal plane and the others are around the [0001] direction. The branch with a dHvA frequency of 2.7 x 107 Oe in the field along [0001] possesses a large mass of 40m0.
