Abstract

NMR investigations (including a low-temperature 13C 2D NOESY experiment) demonstrated that [1,3]-boron shifts easily occur in the title compound 1, which therefore exhibits fluxional behavior. At room temperature, the unusual rearrangement 1 → 4 is the dominating reaction.
