Abstract
"Reduction en masse" is the migration of a hernial sac into the extraperitoneal space. We report the CT findings of two cases of reduction en masse. In both cases, CT scans showed a ball-like closed-loop obstruction in a lateral lower quadrant and prominent inguinal soft tissue ipsilaterally. In one case, the peritoneal ring was also seen as a circular structure, and fluid in a sac extended between the closed loop and inguinal soft tissue.
