Abstract

We performed triple phase enhanced CT examination in eight cases of Budd-Chiari syndrome. The examination items were the distribution of the low attenuation area in the liver on plain CT and parenchymal enhancement of the liver. Eight cases were classified into three patterns by the distribution of the low attenuation area. Parenchymal enhancement was variable by the degree of the obstruction of the hepatic vein and inferior vena cava.
