Csx WO3 nanoparticles for the near-infrared shielding film

Abstract

Cs 0ô3 WO3 nanoparticles with broad near infrared (NIR) absorptive ability were fabricated by a hightemperature solvothermal process. It has been found that there was a strong size-dependent effect for the NIR absorption, that was, the smaller size led to stronger optical absorption. The thin film containing the Csx WO3 nanoparticles can effectively shield out the most part of NIR light without the loss of brightness from the visible lights.
