Abstract

Bipedal thiol, whose end is modified with iodoarene, is synthesized and introduced onto the surface of gold nanoparticles. The obtained nanoparticles allow the SuzukiMiyaura and Sonogashira cross-coupling reactions to form the carboncarbon bond on the surface of the nanoparticle without serious aggregation under harsh conditions.
