Abstract

Each ionic species of LiNbO3melt hasa particular field-modified equilibrium partition coefficient, kE0, and effective partition coefficient, kE, which are predominated by growth parameters, i.e., solute boundary layer thickness,ैC, growth velocity, V and temperature gradient, GL.Variationsofthese coefficients have been discussed in association with growth parameters and a combinationof ैC(g), V(g)and GL(g) asa function of solidified melt fraction, was calculated for true dynamic congruent-state growth from a finite amount of melt when the interface electric field is taken into account.
