Configurational kinetics for disorder-L12 transition studied by the path probability method

The path probability method of the non-equilibrium statistical mechanism is employed to study the configurational kinetics of the disorder-L12 transition. Spinodal ordering is examined from the standpoint of kinetics. The kinetic path traced in the thermodynamic configurational space deviates from the steepest descent direction. Assuming a temperature dependent spin flip probability, the calculated aging kinetics exhibit qualitatively the behavior observed in resistivity measurements.
