Abstract
The conducted noise suppression effect in NiZn ferrite films plated onto printed circuit board (PCB) was analyzed. These films can be directly deposited onto noise sources to attenuate conducted-electromagnetic noises in the GHz range. The higher resonance frequency for the film on the PCB can be attributed to undulated columnar structure of the film which was analyzed using scanning electron microscopy.
