Abstract

Concentration dependence of the Néel temperature of y-Mntoo-xR.Ux ( 31<x<37 ) alloy systems has beori investigated. The Néel temperature increases with decreasing Mn concentration in analogy with 7-Mn-Ir and 7-Mn-Rh-alloys. The Néel temperature of the present alloy system is the highest in disordered 7-Mn-TM ( TM = Fe, Ni, Eh, Pd, Ir and Pt ) alloys, suggesting that the Néel temperature becomes higher with decreasing the number of 3d electrons in the Mn site.
