Abstract
A simulation study was carried out to analyze the parameters that affect the magnetization reversal process of synthetic ferrimagnetic (SF) coupled media. The calculations were based on an assembly of single-domain grains. The consistency of the model was examined by comparing simulation and experimental results. Analysis indicated the need to realize sufficiently high antiferromagnetic coupling energy for optimization of the SF media.
