The heterointerface electrode, porous LaSrCoO4-δ on porous La0.6 Sr0.4 CoO3-δ, was examined by an ac impedance analysis. The performance of the heterointerface electrode was higher than those of LaSrCo O4-δ and La0.6 Sr0.4 CoO3-δ. The better performance is attributed to the enhancement of oxygen surface reaction at the heterointerface of LaSrCo O4-δ and La0.6 Sr0.4 CoO3-δ. The results are consistent with high surface exchange coefficients at the heterointerface between LaSrCoO4-δ and La0.6 Sr0.4 CoO3-δ, which were determined by oxygen isotope diffusion experiment.
