Complex magnetic phase diagram in the non-centrosymmetric compound CePtSi3

We reconstruct a magnetic phase diagram of the non-centrosymmetric CePtSi3 through magnetization measurements for H || [100]. The observed magnetization curves show four newly found anomalies in addition to the previously reported three. The multiple magnetization steps for H || [100] in CePtSi3 indicate successive spin-flop-like transitions and additional complex transformations of the domain structure at low fields. The constructed magnetic phase diagram of CePtSi3 includes more than six magnetic phases, and we discuss the similarity of magnetic properties between CePtSi3 and a family compound, CePdSi3.
