Abstract

The structure formation of a binary polymer blend of poly(styrene-ran-butadiene) and polybutadiene is investigated by laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM). The contrast generation of spherical and interconnected morphologies is discussed in detail and compared to that obtained by transmission electron microscopy. From the LSCM three-dimensional modelling of a bicontinous structure is performed.
