Complete resolution of the quantum Zeno paradox for outside observers

Abstract

The quantum Zeno paradox is fully resolved for the purely indirect and incomplete measurements performed by the detectors outside the system. The survival probability of an excited state is not at all changed by the outside measurements, provided the system satisfies a natural condition for outside measurements.
