Comparison of the long-term thermal stability of various metallic glasses under continuous heating

Abstract

Long-term thermal stability of various metallic glasses under continuous heating was compared. Phase transformation diagrams were constructed using differential scanning calorimetry data by applying the corollary of the Kissinger analysis method. Results showed that any metallic glass as a metastable material devetrified even at room temperature at sufficiently large time scale.
