Abstract

This report gives combination rates of coke prepared with metallurgical coke and fine alumina. The bed was preheated to a specified temperature in a N//2 stream. The gas was changed to a mixture of N//2-O//2(20%). The unreacted core model can be applied to combustion of S and P type cokes; the model for S type is shown. A mathematical model of this experiment was developed.
