An attempt is made to demonstrate that in high-Tc superconductors (HTSCs), it is the ratio zAΔm/Tc that is approximately constant. In the low-temperature limit, zA increases monotonically with increasing doping x. The reduction of zA with increasing temperature resembles that of the c-axis superfluid density.
