Abstract
The positional isomers of hydroperoxide prepared from methyl linoleate and methyl linolenate by photosensitized oxidation were analyzed by using the hydroperoxide-specific system of chemiluminescence-HPLC. Each isomer separated by HPLC was collected, reduced and identified by a mass spectral analysis as the trimethylsilyl derivative. Resolution of a racemate of the positional isomer established by chiral-phase HPLC.
