Abstract
For characterizing creep crack growth rate behaviour at high temperatures, several parametric methods have been proposed. On the other hand, the authors have proposed the representation by the Q parameter of crack growth rate in terms of independent variables including applied gross stress sigma //g, K and temperature in explicitly analytical form. In the present paper the comparison has been made of the representation by the Q parameter with that by the other parametric methods. Furthermore, by analysing the data in literatures including our previous data, the Q* parameter was proposed as an extension of the Q parameter.
