Characterization of flow reduction properties in an aneurysm due to a stent

Abstract

The flow reduction property of the stent using a stent positioning effect is described. It aims to provide a meaningful stent parameter to characterize the flow reduction property and to reveal several other important stent parameters using this parameter. This result is valuable as it gives clear guidelines to stent manufacturers to aid effective design.
