Abstract

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with diameters of 10-20 nm were prepared by spinning and carbonizing polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) core/polyacrylonitrile (PAN) shell microspheres. The method employed entirely eliminated both the disadvantages of contamination and the need for purification.
