Abstract

Prenylalcohols such as geranylgeraniol, farnesol, and geraniol were converted to prenylcarboxylic acids such as geranylgeranoic acid, farnesoic acid, and geranoic acid, respectively, by cultured cells of pumpkin, Cucurbita maxia.
