Abstract

The electromagnetic application system to improve the running characteristics at run out table of the hot strip mill in the steel making plant by means of the electromagnetic force is proposed. According to the fundamental analysis such as electromagnetic calculation and experimental data, this system is enough used in on-line operation even in consideration of magnetic saturation and the electromagnetic braking.
