A law of similarity in a model vibration test for soil-structure-fluid system in an arbitrary gravitational field is derived. Application of centrifuge model testing to dynamic problems is considered by the similitude and by the equation of motion in centrifugal field. The confining pressure dependency of shear modulus of sandy material is identified from centrifuge shaking table test and the results shows good agreement with that from element test. Applicability of the scaling laws both in 1g field and in 40g centrifugal field is examined by comparing the results converted into prototype scale with those of FEM calculation.
