The magnetic properties of the Nd2-xSrxCuO4-δ system are studied by powder neutron diffraction. Formally reduced samples (x ≤ 0.06) show similar magnetic behaviour to undoped Nd2CuO4, while in formally oxidised ones (0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.2) the long range Cu antiferromagnetic order is rapidly destroyed upon hole doping. The metal-insulator transition in Nd2-xSrxCuO4-δ lies above the solubility limit of Sr 2+ in Nd2CuO4.
