Abstract
The temperature dependence of magneto-absorption spectra of Cd1-xMnxSe (x=0.10, 0.38) was investigated in steady high magnetic fields. In a fixed magnetic field, there is a maximum in the exciton energy versus temperature, suggesting a competition between the contributions of the thermal fluctuation of Mn2+ spins and the electron-phonon coupling to the band gap energy.
